We celebrate the event on Saturday evening at 4:30 pm and on Sunday at 9 am children and adults process to the church from Middle Country Road.
We worship at 12:30 and 7:30 pm in remembrance of Jesus' final day with his disciples, the institution of the Lord's Supper, and his agony in the Garden of Gethsemane.
Individuals and families come to the church for 20-minute periods throughout the day on Good Friday between 7 am-7 pm. Many sign up in advance for specific times.
We have two services on Good Friday. At 10 am we have "Children's Stations" and at 3 pm we have a traditional service outdoors. We also carpool to the Shrine of Our Lady of the Island for a noontime devotion there.
At 7:30 pm on Good Friday we have a special devotional service focusing on the cross of Jesus. There are special hymns and the reading of the Passion of the Lord from John's Gospel. There is no Holy Communion during this service.
Our first celebration of the resurrection takes place at the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday starting at 7:30 pm. We begin in darkness, and we hear again some of the moat powerful Old Testament stories. During the service we decorate the sanctuary and celebrate Holy Communion.
Easter Sunday is a great day of celebration. We have a special Easter Sunday Worship Schedule with three services: 7:30, 9:30, and 11:15. We decorate the church with flowers, banners, and special altar furnishings.
Our teens also host a breakfast as a fundraiser for the National Youth Gathering in 2021. It is served between 8 am and 10:30 am in All Saints' Hall. It is helpful to make reservations in advance, but all are welcome for this special time of fellowship.
